Digitron Instrumentation Ltd is a brand name of Elektron Instruments Ltd and offers temperature, pressure, relative humidity and data logging instruments principally to the Food Industry, but also to the industrial, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and transportation market sectors.

Elektron Instruments Limited was formed in 2007 and is a wholly owned division of Elektron PLC who specialises in the design and manufacture of engineered products.

From its headquarters in Essex U.K. the Group is organised into 3 divisions formed from 7 operating subsidiaries domiciled in the UK, Tunisia, China and North America. The Group employs over 1,100 people.

Elektron Components Division produces electro-components under the brand names Arcolectric and Bulgin
Hard Metals Division produces specialist components with ultra durable properties under the brand names Howle and Titman
Elektron Instruments Division manufactures a range of instrumentation products under the brand names Digitron, Sifam and Queensgate

Sifam Meters
Analogue moving coil and programmable digital meters, plus bar graph indicators and ruggedised meters for airborne applications.

Sifam Knobs
A wide range of custom and standard moulded control knobs and accessories produced from single, two and three shot moulding machines. Second operations including assembly, printing and ultrasonic welding are available.

Contract Manufacturing
A comprehensive sub contract manufacturing service offering all of the technologies of the business including surface mount PCB facilities is available.

Sifam supplies products to a very wide range of manufacturing and service industries worldwide. There is a comprehensive distributor network, fully supported by dedicated company personnel, in most industrialised countries. There is an excellent record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships. Extensive experience has been gained working with customers operating MRP, KANBAN and JIT systems.

Queensgate Instruments
Queensgate Instruments provide nanopositioning and sensing solutions for high technology industries. Applications include Hard Disc Drive head testing, Lithographic Steppers and metrology instruments used in the manufacture of semi conductors, SEM’s and AFM’s as well as a number of space applications.
