Food Safety & HACCP Compliance
Digitron's Temperature Monitoring Solutions for HACCP Compliance
DigiTrak RF - The Ultimate
Wireless Solution for Food Temperature Monitoring
Digitron’s wireless solution for Food Temperature
Monitoring, DigiTrak
RF, uses the most up to date advances in wireless technology
and comprehensive visualisation software allowing you to track
critical data automatically and with ease!
By positioning DigiTrak
RFs’ remote sensors in, at or near the perishable product/equipment
you are monitoring, the temperature data is sent wirelessly
to a base station connected to a PC or networked computer.
The DigiTrak RF system
allows 24/7 temperature monitoring for refrigeration, servery
and cooking equipment, providing accurate temperature measurements
with automatic data storage.
A contact sensor option is also available allowing users to monitor
door open/close status of storage areas.
The HTML based visualisation software provides access control
with multi user options via PC or network computer whilst managing
historical data for verification, analysis and risk assessment.
– perfect for HACCP compliance.
Other features within the DigiTrak RF software allow the user
to configure all the alarm management functions and notification
controls including the option of an LED Message display board
to alert staff to any alarm conditions. This can be combined with
pop-up windows on the PC or SMS text messages and emails to alarm
notification recipients
Verification report printing is also available through the software
for on demand regulatory compliance.

ThermaCheck - for fast and easy Food Temperature Recording
Digitron’s New System improves efficiency,
security and reliability of data. Comprehensive analysis features
- and full compliance with HACCP 2005.
Digitron's ThermaCheck™
Food Temperature Recording System is the fast and easy solution
for collecting, analysing, storing and retrieving temperature
data. Fully compliant with HACCP 2006, ThermaCheck™
samples, validates and records data via a small hand-held unit
with an attached probe, effectively replacing traditional paper
based methods and providing a secure database. This can be downloaded
to a PC and analysed by product, location, process or user, through
the management software supplied.
Using a completely electronic recording process is significantly
quicker and less expensive; and the opportunity for false, altered,
inaccurate or wrongly recorded measurements is substantially reduced.
The system has been designed for use by staff without specialised
IT skills and the data collection procedures can be learned in
minutes. A PIN code identifies the user.
ThermaCheck™
can store more than 10,000 readings, with 2,500 individual product
readings supported with information on product type, process/location,
reading and user. This 'mix' can be altered as required and acceptable
temperature parameters and alarms can be set individually for
each product. A corrective action feature, which is triggered
when temperature is outside these limits, enables the user to
label the incident accordingly: accept, reject, retest, refer
to manager etc.
Results can be saved in Microsoft Excel format and the visualisation
software package supplied allows easy comparison and analysis
of exceptional or unacceptable data, using graphical or tabular
formats. Software is compatible with Windows 95 onwards.
The measuring range is -40°C to +300°C (-40°F to +572°F).
Powered by two AA rechargeable batteries, the instrument's typical
battery life is 45-72 hours. Robustly designed and waterproof
to IP67 rating, the unit is supplied with a protective rubber
boot. In addition, a comprehensive range of accessories is available.
The system has been designed for most food applications: manufacture,
storage, distribution, processing, preparation, catering, retail
and service outlets.
In a recent Formal Evaluation by the MoD, ThermaCheck™
was rated top for 'ease of use'. The product was also included
in the specification of the award winning kitchen refit at Whatley
Manor Hotel.
