ThermaFlux

Overview

ThermaFlux is a Digitron instrument for the measurement of Heat Flux.

ThermaFlux has a dual sensor head which provides simultaneous top and bottom heat flux measurements and separate temperature recordings as the portable battery-powered datalogger passes through the baking cycle. Using the radio trigger control, the process operator can start and stop measurement as required. Dedicated software then produces accurate, high resolution heat energy profiles by plotting heat flux against time travelled (i.e. position). Production parameters can be adjusted to produce the most appropriate 'templates' for the thermal process, enabling the operator to replicate results and maximising product consistency throughout the enterprise. The system allows extensive data analysis and manipulation - with profile comparison for easy diagnostics of baking plant and controls.

The base station provides rapid pre and post conditioning of the instrument, cooling the datalogger and optimising the sensor head for frequent repetitive use and effectively ensuring that the unit always enters the baking cycle at the same temperature with a fixed record starting point.

ThermaFlux offers next generation performance to drive down cost and enhance quality in thermal processing while being safe to use and hygienic.
